An Audience Of One

We live in a culture where people are either living trying to please other people or just living for themselves, you must wonder who is living to please God. The political candidates are trying to buy voters with smooth words and by making promises that they don't have the power to fulfill. The truth of the matter is we really have left God out of the equation. We hit our chest and pump our fist and say we are a great nation but forget who really made our Nation Great. This nation didn't become great on its own, it was not made great by policies, laws and politics but by our own admission that we were not great at all...how can this nation think that we were great, with the history at our backdoor, racism, superiority complex that is deeply rooted in the DNA of our nation. Yes we have come a long way but please let's not get progress confuse with changing away a person think and act only God can do that.  The nation that I remember was a nation that was not perfect but we prayed to God as we stood in our class rooms before the teacher started his or her lesson. The nation that I remember was a nation that honored the marriage code (between a man and a women). The nation that I remember was a nation that opened its doors to individuals, families who wanted a better way of living. The nation that I remember was a nation of free speech and freedom to express your love for God the creator of us all. We walked or drove to Church on Sunday morning and ate dinner together on Sunday afternoon. We stayed outside until the street lights came on and then waving our hands to our friends good night until the morning. Yes even then we had problems and issues but we made God the audience of one. One nation under God but now we discussing which God...how did we get so far off course?

What ever achievements that we have accomplished, what ever name that we have made for ourselves remember it is God who have inspired people to created, develop, and build. God is the one who give great wisdom for medical and science breakthroughs. His hands has guilded this nation through times of devastations, has healed this nation from the agony external foes who have inflected their hate on our shores, God hand has lifted us from the ashes of 911 and now helps to protect us from domestic and foreign enemies. But we must not keep refusing His love and protection, if this nation wants to continual to be great it must begin to take a self examination and become the Nation where we put the focus back on God, loving our neighbor as ourselves, serving one another, and helping our children find their way through this maze call life. When God becomes the audience of one our nation will be that beacon light of hope once again.

The Need For Help!

Often time we as individuals face circumstances and are surrounded by situations that we cannot handle, but the sad reality is we face these situations and circumstances alone when we don't have to. Why face the pressures of life; a lost of a love one, divorce, sickness, go ahead put in the blank...all alone! Well there is good new! Before Jesus ascended back to glory, He promised to send us some HELP...and He did, Jesus never made a promised that He did not keep...He said in the book of St. John, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my NAME...." Jesus promise to give you the Holy Spirit because he knew that living in this world would be difficult and we would need Someone greater then our situations....The Holy Spirit helps us in many ways (Bill Graham put it this way); First of all, the Holy Spirit is given to those who have receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, when this happens you become a believer! But it doesn't end there...you need the Holy Spirit in your life and active...How does the Holy Spirit Work in the life of a believer?

First, the Holy Spirit illumine (enlighten) the believers mind...ICor. 2:10, Rom. 12:2, and Eph. 4:23...There are many things in this Life can trouble the mind, attack the mind, and pressure the mind....but the Holy Spirit helps us with these things, so that we will know what, how God think about it....Second, the Holy Spirit also in-dwells our body; ICor. 6:19, He gives us the ability to fight against what is fighting against us, this is a spiritual battle that cannot be won with bombs, guns and natural abilities...and Thrid, the Holy Spirit works in the lives of the believer; He comforts us Acts, 9:31, He guilds us John 16:13, He sanctifies us Rom. 15:16, and He helps us with our infirmities (weakness) Rom.8:26,...The Holy Spirit is waiting to Help you to make it through this life and to overcome the World....

So now, it's up to you...you can go through this life alone, without Help or you can ask the Holy Spirit to come and help you and give you the power, the guildance, the ability and the Wisdom to make it through this maze called life....#Help!

Unprecedented Miracle

In order for God to give you an unprecedented miracle there must be an unprecedented situation that you are facing. Unprecedented means unparalledled, unique, unmatched, and you having no record of anyone going through something like what you are facing. Many of God's people in 2015 and now crossing over into 2016 have been facing some unparalleled and unique situations...so I came to tell you that you are the right candidate for what God is about to do in the next three months!

God doesn't need any reference point, nothing to start with in order to bless you...He doesn't need your address to work a miracle in your favor; He knows where you live. Remember this one thing; the Bible said that the world was created by God out of nothing. He Just spoke it into existence.

Just like He spoke the world into existence, He will speak your miracle into existence, only believe...

APOLOGY NEEDED

Our country has been in great anticipation and amazement over the visit of the 266th leader of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis who serves in the office of the Sovereign of Vatican City State since 2013. Some individuals and groups alike may disagree with certain issues that the Pope is willing to speak about. However, what I most admire about him is the humility and willingness to address the issues that has plagued the Catholic Church through-out the years. As I began to ponder deeply on this, thoughts of consistent and common ill-wills that plagued our Church as a whole....Apology Needed

On behalf of the hundreds and thousands of true believers and followers of Jesus Christ globally, I personally would like to apologize for the numerous and consistent lack of attention that we have provided to others...Apology Needed.

Apology Needed...for the Church failing to be the example that Jesus Christ has revealed to us in the Word of God, scripture from the New and Old Testament so adequately reveal God's love for all people We as a Church have failed to share the love of God to others without prejudice and judgement, using our own personal values and life experiences to define others. Furthermore, the Church has also found its leadership and followers putting themselves first; rather the needs and hurts of others, while at the same time neglecting to feed the hungry, clothe the naked and visit those who are sick and incarcerated, just as Jesus Christ commanded us in the Word of God.

Apology Needed....to you from in the Church who have been entrusted to preach the Word of God that have so clearly missed the mark that preach against segregation, but yet separte themseleves and their congregation every Sunday morning with a spirit of ghettoization aganist the very people who we claim to love and whom we are advocation for.

Apology extended to you...from me for those who claim to speak for God, who really are speaking out of thier own selfish motive, to gain riches, material wealth and fame, those who are attemting to be seen and not serving. They profess their awareness, but are only nebulous. For each and every-one who claim to represent Jesus Christ, encouraging others to follow them, instead of pointing them to follow Jesus Christ, I apologize.

I Apologize for every Judgmental, religious, finger-pointing Christian that you have encuntered along the way, who has spewed thier self-rightousness out to you, keeping rules and thier man made traditions  rather than understanding your fight and struggles just to make it to Church.

I Apologize for every preacher whose greater goal is to fill the pews in the Church, while they withhold the truth of the Word of God, who will compromise The Faith, not being concern with the final destination of the soul of an individual.

In conclusion, I humbly apologize for every horrible experience you have had in any Church service, in any denomination, from anyone who professess to follow Jesus Christ, from the side glances from Church members, from choir members and priase teams who are not prepared to usher you iinto the presence of God, for those who have hurt you in words or in deed; when they been charged with protecting you. I apologize for your experience of steeping into worship services and leaving with the same burdens and same heart conditions as when you walked in.

We, the Church are people who are striving daily to be more like our savior Jesus Christ, to display the fruit of the Spirit and reveal the Love of God, the same Love that he so freely gives to us. Our aim is that the World witness the Love in our heart and will come into the saving knowledge of Jesus after hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is clear that no Church is perfect, but Jesus is....therefore it is Christ that should be our priority and we all will stand before him for his word will not be void. We, as the Church must do a better Job at being the example of Jesus Christ, reaching the lost, loving without prejudice, serving others, worshiping without compromising, preaching with conviction and leading with integrity.

If God is not the Author of Confusion, Why am I a confused Christian?

I once heard that the world was one big insane asylum and the Christian were the doctors and nurses that treated the patients, I laughed at this statement, but after many days interacting with people, watching news reports concerning the bum rush of shoppers running over each other trying to get the sales, listening to different conversations of peers, coworkers and yes some friends. I’m left with the Possibility of believing just how true this statement may be. It will almost leave you being a Christian in a confused state. Is it possible to have administered the necessary doses on medicine to this confused world for so long that doubt, anxiety, depression and hopelessness began to rub off on you, that you will almost believe that this world with all of its problems, racial conflicts, killing, police brutality and rioting that it is beyond hope? Sometime you want to run out of your house with your hands up shouting “I’m so confused”! Well as a Christian I realized that even though situations might be confusing I myself don’t have to be confused. Confusion is a state of misperception, bewilderment or disorder. A person is only confused when they are unsure of who and whose they are and who is really in control. Being a Christian is solely based on your faith in Jesus Christ and knowing that you belong to him, knowing that no matter how crazy things might be God is still in control. But if you’re not sure what that faith and how much Jesus really cares for you, you will be confused...Since God is not the Author of confusion then the question must be answered why do we feel confused at times? I believe that many Christians feel confused when they don’t take the time to the words of Jesus...when we allow our busy schedules to rob us of the time that we should be spending with Him; in our devotion (prayer, reading the bible, worship). We become confused when we look to other things and people for solutions rather than putting our faith in Jesus Christ and him alone. Jesus left His words on record; we must spend the necessary time with His Word for in Him (Jesus) we will find Peace in a confused world...John 14: 27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid”. It is in these verses that Jesus encourages us to receive the PEACE that only He can give. In this peace we can find solace, the courage to face any circumstance and the strength we need to live in a confused world and being immune from all it infectious diseases such as; doubt, anxiety, depression and hopelessness. So if you’re feeling confused about your life trust God!
